Courage. The cornerstone of my journey and my business.

We all have the power to make an impact, whether it's large or small. But for many of us, finding our path and taking action can be daunting. It takes courage to step outside of our comfort zones and do something that matters. I was devoted to my 26-year career at PepsiCo, a large multinational Food and Beverage Company. I have held senior roles and led and developed teams and leaders, and, in the latter decade, specialised as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt delivering £millions in productivity. In 2019, I started to experience symptoms of unresolved trauma. I struggled with anxiety and stress, crippling feelings of worthlessness and as time passed, flashbacks and panic attacks began to hit me. I chose to summon my courage and face my worst memories and do the work to get better. And with the help of coaching and therapy, I now stand tall as someone who knows their worth. This adversity gave me new knowledge, new experiences, a new outlook, and an opportunity to redesign my life. Though extremely challenging, it was ultimately a positive experience that helped me grow and figure out how to make an impact in the world. My brand, Empowered Mindset, and my mission to free a million minds from limits were born from this experience.
